Our Story

ProFab came into being in 1996 when the parent company, SECO Architectural Systems, had a need for custom fabricated trim, flashing and accessory materials for its contracting operations. The first “shop” was a small, unassuming 2,000 SF building in East Tennessee where these building materials were first produced.

Over the ensuing years, that small fabrication shop has evolved to a full-fledged 30,000 SF plant now located in Wellford, SC just off I-85 near Spartanburg. The company has continually invested in people, equipment, and technology to produce the ever more sophisticated and custom materials that designers and OEM partners demand.

ProFab’s central location in the heart of the Southeast U.S. allows for direct access to all of the major southeast markets. Additionally, given the plant’s central proximity to ports, rail, and highways, ProFab easily ships materials to customers all over the country!

Since our doors first opened, ProFab’s operation has always been about providing exceptional service. This will never change, and our customers know this!
